Director Strategic business development, Intrum


Key areas of responsibility: As the Director Business Development, you will play a central role in delivering against key strategic growth priorities. On a strategic level you will be responsible for – Responsibility for market insight and assessment of market potential – Identifying business development initiatives – Long term strategic planning and simulations and rolling strategic planning. – Assessment of new products and services, introduction of new service together with product development organisation On a more operational level you will be responsible for – Proactively take the role as project leader and sparring partner to the Managing Director CMS Sales & Service Development, member of Group Management Team. – Drive development and execution of strategic projects within CMS Sales & Service together with the Commercial Director and the Director of Service Development as well as across group functions and markets/countries, in collaboration with group and local management. – Prepare, Board and GMT presentations, Decision Points and supporting material for decision meetings, and presentations as needed.

Qualifications & Profile – Project Leader top tier strategy consultancy ( Growth Strategy & Business Development ) – Expert with business plan development. – The role will operate across the entire organization from senior managerial levels to the front-line and will thus require a high level of influencing skills and change management capabilities to bring structure, alignment and performance orientation. – Ability to work in teams and to manage multiple stakeholders both at Senior level and management teams in each organization, as well as to work at all levels with peers and staff across the organization. – Ambitious, with positive attitude, flexible and willing to work as a team and in an international and decentralized environment. – Entrepreneurial doer with a hands-on attitude – Proven ability to deliver high quality work – Pragmatic and flexible to adapt to business needs – Ability to think ahead and challenge management thinking to grow the business, improve strategy and deliver results

Location and reporting: The role will be located in Stockholm, some travel to be expected to work closely with the markets.
